// INSPIRATION
The world is not just about beauty. There are goods and bads. They will always proceed to live together. And in some situations, they will have to work together in order to pursue a better world.

Inspired by on of the relief stories and silhouettes of Churning of The Ocean of Milk, we are inspired to create a light installation that focuses on shadow. We create the scene of the Devas (Gods) and Asuras (Demons) working together in order to claim Indra's (King of Heaven) power back. We also added Mount Mandara (as the churning rod) and Vasuki (the snake) to visualize the situation of Devas and Asuras 'working together' retrieve peace that was once stolen from Indra.
Using light, woodblocks, wire, and artificial moss, our model depicts this famous myhtology through shadow play on paper screen at the sunrise
